Las Vegas for College Spring Break

Your only in college once in your life?  For most that should only last 4-5 years.  That means you only have a couple years to take advantage of the crazy spring break trips you hear about from friends and see about in the movies.  Your younger years likely will be spent in exotic destinations as Cancun, Acapulco, and the Bahamas partly because of their drinking ages.  Once you hit 21 do you really want to be hanging out on sprig break with a bunch of younger kids?  Time to step your game up an play around in an adult playground. I can only think of one place that is perfect for this……VEGAS!

Vegas has everything and more for you to enjoy a very memorable college sprig break.  Las Vegas has a variety of affordable hotels, cheap flights, tons of nightclubs, pool parties, restaurants and shows to add a variety to your vacation.  7 days in Vegas gives you almost enough time to check out most of the top hotels in Las Vegas, 2 hand fulls of the top nightclubs in the world and in between all of this visit some of your favorite celebrity chefs restaurants.

You might think to yourself with the abundance of options how can i manage to get all of this done without ever visiting Las Vegas? There are many companies out in Las Vegas like Vegas Hotel Escapes and Lasvegas.com that can build your vacation or provide a variety of options so you can build your trip around those options.  If your interested in bottle service you will need to be setting that up through a VIP host, for entry a promoter and there are also other options like club crawls.  When building your trip i recommend building it through a Las Vegas tour provider in comparison to and Expedia due to the local Knowledge.

What would you do on your spring break in Las Vegas?

New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas

Las-Vegas-New-Years-Eve

Planning your Las Vegas New Year’s party can be all sorts of chaos if not done ahead of time.  With so many Las Vegas Hotels and entertainment options where do you start; Flights, Hotels, dinners, shows or clubs?  Luckily for you there are many companies like www.vegashotelescapes.com and www.vegas.com that will plan your whole trip for you.  They can provide you with hotel deals that you won’t find anywhere else.

Las Vegas is unlike any city in the world.  New Year’s Eve in the city that never sleeps and the party doesn’t stop?  I think so! If you’ve ever been to Las Vegas you already know how crazy (in a good way) the city can get.  Now amplify that by 10 and you might come close to what it is like to be in Las Vegas for New Year’s Eve.

Have you ever wanted to just run down the middle of Las Vegas Boulevard?  New Year’s Eve is your chance.  The Las Vegas strip and many of the streets leading up to it are closed down by 6:00 pm and don’t re-open till 5:00 am the following morning.  So you and the 300k plus people expected can run around the strip till the wee early morning hours.

We might not have a big ball dropping but we have plenty of fireworks shooting off the roofs of many of the Las Vegas strip resorts and all of the top celebrities, Dj’s and performing artist at all of Las Vegas top nightclubs and venues.  Some of this year’s top performances are Calvin Harris at Hakkasan Nightclub at MGM Grand, Kaskade at XS nighclub at Encore and Chuckie at Marquee nightclub at The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas.  Entry can range from $50-$250 for men and women for the grand evening…..don’t worry though most of these packages come with premium open bar for 2-3 hours along with passed                       d’oeuvres.

Clubs aren’t your thing?   Don’t worry….plenty of our restaurants all have New Year’s Eve parties of their own.  Most restaurants have extravagant pre-set menus that come with many surprises.  If you’re not looking to stuff you face and slip into a New Year’s Eve comma many of your casino bars and establishments are all throwing some sort of party that ranges between $50-$75 mostly accompanying open bar.  Long story short……with so many options you can get lost planning your Vegas New Year’s party so I recommend you let the experts do the planning for you.  Happy New Year’s to all!

Las Vegas for 24 hours

If you had 24 hours in the greatest city in the world what would you do?  Party till you can’t party anymore?  Eat till your stuffed then eat again?  Shop till you drop?   Las Vegas hotels are designed to the point that you really don’t need to leave your hotel.  Most hotels have their own collection of restaurants, shops, clubs and bars.  So with all of these options how can you even imagine in 24 hours experiencing something outside your respective hotel?   What season would you pick? Seeing that I’m a 32 year old single male I’m pretty sure you can get an idea how my trip would go.    Well here is my ideal 24 hour Vegas vacation.

Vegas is absolutely amazing 365 days a year 24/7.  My 24 hour vacation would have to be in the summer and on a Sunday. Why you might ask?  Sundays are the best days to get more bang for your buck with the rollover of weekend traffic.  Sunday Funday! My Las Vegas hotel of choice would be The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas.  My flight would arrive at 8 am and I would have the Cosmopolitan limo waiting for me curbside.  After my driver drops me off and I check into my Cosmopolitan wraparound suite I would swiftly change into my bathing suit and head down to Marquee Day Club where my V.I.P. host is waiting to escort me to my pool side cabana.  After a couple of hours of lunch, drinks and listening to one of my favorite top 100 DJ’s I decide to take an exit and head north on the strip for tourist things.

2:30 pm – First stop is The Miracle Mile Mall at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas.  Yes it’s a full mile of shopping.  I always make sure I stop by Blondie’s to grab a beer and catch the scores on the games.  I always like to stop by the “Rain Storn” in the sky…go check it out it’s pretty cool.

4:00 pm – Linq Las Vegas and the High Roller.  Las Vegas is now home to the Largest Ferris/observation wheel in the world (High Roller).  After an amazing 30 minute rotation around the Linq viewing the stunning views of the Las Vegas valley I decided to stop by Tilted Kilt for a drink since I’ve never been to any of their establishments.

5:30 pm – Bellagio fountains.  I am now almost 10 hours into my 24 hours.  As I walk south down Las Vegas Boulevard I take a pit stop by The Bellagio Fountains.  This never gets old.

7:00 pm – Dinner!  So after hours of drinking and hitting the strip I decided to freshen up and head to my favorite dinner spot; The Mandarin Bar at Mandarin Las Vegas.   They have an amazingly fresh libations menu along with a great tapas menu.  Small plates are better for this guy so I don’t head back to my suite and fall victim to food coma.  Mandarin Bar has one of the most amazing views of the Las Vegas Strip with floor to ceiling windows located on the 23rd floor of Mandarin.

8:30 pm – Always make time for heading down to Fremont Street.  There’s so much activity going on in Downtown Las Vegas with The D and the new Grand Hotel.  East Freemont Street has gone through a much needed renovation with a lot of hipster bars and restaurants leading up to the recently opened Container Park.

10:30 pm – Hakkasan Nightclub Las Vegas.  I arrive to MGM Grand just in time to meet my V.I.P. host at the door to escort me to my dance floor table where i can listen to the sounds of Calvin Harris, Tiesto, Steve Aoki, Hardwell, Tommy Trash or any of their other amazing EDM DJ’s.

4:00 am – 4 AM has come and the headliner has left the stage.  While most people think the party is stopping…it’s really just beginning with the afterhours.

4:30 am – Cromwell Hotel Las Vegas, Home to Drai’s Nightclub Las Vegas.  After a couple of hours of bouncing between the EDM room and Hip Hop room I start to realize that my 24 hours of glory is quickly coming to the end.

6:00 pm – After picking up my luggage and making a stop by the Henry to grab carryout breakfast for the limo ride to McCarran I stop by the Cosmopolitan front desk the bounce into the sunrise.

If you had 24 hours in Las Vegas how would you spend it?
